We are proud to host the first Pediatric Bowel Unit within the Ministry of Health. Our BAREM Unit offers modern solutions for children dealing with fecal incontinence, constipation, and chronic bowel problems.
Our Hospital Chief Physician and BAREM Project Coordinator, Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, summarized the center's operating model with these words: 'In our BAREM unit, we serve with a completely multidisciplinary structure. Under the coordination of our expert pediatric surgery nurse, we evaluate our patients through a holistic approach with a wide team of physicians and healthcare professionals ranging from pediatric gastroenterology and nephrology to physical therapy, child psychology, and nutrition expertise.'
BAREM Unit Project Executive, Dr. Şaduman Dinçer (PhD, Nurse), summarizes these treatment approaches by stating, 'We do not just touch the bowels; we directly touch the quality of life of our children.
