Our hospital first started to serve in 1941 as Konya Maternity and Child Nursing Center in the building which was used as Provincial Health Directorate. In 2000, It was named after Faruk Sükan Maternity and Children's Hospital.
(Dr. Faruk Sükan, an Internal Medicine Specialist, is a Konya MP from 22/02/1965 to 27/10/1965 from the Ministry of Health). As of 07/2012, it has been moved to the historical building and the old child service building which was emptied by Numune Hospital.
After our new service building in 2017, Ali Kemal Belviranlı has taken its name and our hospital will serve as a total of 400 beds, including 325 beds and 75 intensive care units in 75 beds.
